For the first time I feel our team is really ready for the Red Jacket run. I jumped in on a whim which is what I usually do. I announced on Feb 1st, threw out my incentives, and hoped and prayed I have supported the team enough for them to support me back.
My fear: I have supported the wrong "level" of team. I have supported Lisa's - Ashley's team and below. This is because these girls are the most active and care more than what I have noticed above the "Sales Leader" line. Lisa is an AMAZING leader and friend. She has recruited more "go getters" than me. I recognize I need to help all because our team is essentially one whether I get "credit" for people or not.
I believe and abide by this theory. My team of personals has been amazing. SO MANY steady Eddies. People who are putting in orders every 3 months. Of course there are some of you who are making this your business. I need all of you . I need everyone to know I appreciate and understand ANY level of this business. I understand.
This promotion has been difficult. People who I thought would be there for me no matter what are not. Pam Tompos: You get a shout out. You almost quit and you now have been one of my biggest supporters. Kathryn Arms and Allison Vail. Same goes to the both of you. Lisa Beemer. There honestly are so many. TRACY.
I thank everyone and wish I could personally reward so many for their efforts. I am trying to not be defeated. To not feel frustrated because people say no. I can do this. I can live beyond the NO's and prevail to the Next Opportunity.
I just wish people would see that this promotion is not a "money" thing. I need to have more training to understand how to lead the size of this team. I want to be the best leader because this is going to help shape WHO I am and WHO I am destined to be.
