Found in my drafts from last year.
However, yesterday I drove away from your house in Duluth after helping you move your final items in. You are so filled with excitement and hope, and I am so happy to see you in this space. I have to remind myself that this is YOUR time to shine and grow. You are working on carving a space into that world that is just your size. A space where you will make the most impact. I am thrilled for this next journey for you. I am excited to watch you walk your path and shine.

This is your last full day home before you go to college.
I am going to miss...
The sound of your bedroom door opening in the morning with the familiar click.
You leaving and saying "love you" every time you leave.
You coming home, making food, and retreating to your bedroom
Me saying "Goodnight you two" to you and Quinn before I go to bed and having you respond with a simple "good night".
Oh girl. All the memories. You were my last baby. My little buddy to go on adventures with on Friday's when I didn't have daycare. You accompanied me on field trips to Red Oak because you were allowed because you were so cute and well behaved.
Your first dentist appointment when you were 3 and you dressed as a princess covered in glitter because it was Halloween and we stopped at Ulta to get some beauty supplies. The ladies fell in love with you and decorated you like a fairy. You were just so cute :).
